The Office

Located at 1518 Walnut Street, the office is in the heart of Center City Philadelphia near many shops and restaurants.  Accessible to public transportation to include the Broad Street Line (Walnut and Locust stop), Bus 42 Penn's Landing to Wycombe (15th & Walnut stop).  Street parking is limited. Also, the office is wheelchair accessible.

KEP Life Skills Consulting LLC located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania provides counseling, psychotherapy, coaching, and consulting services. Individuals are offered assistance with daily life stressors covering a wide range of concerns or topics.  As a result, they lead healthier and less stressful lives.

Meet the Counselor

Katrina Pinkney born and raised in Philadelphia is a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a nationally Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) who collaborates with clients to uncover available resources and options in all situations. 
She has worked in the non-profit, public health, healthcare, and higher education sectors.  Within these industries, she has encountered a diverse population to include college students, at-risk, geriatric, minority, underserved, low-income, and the disabled.  Her specialties include at-risk, minority populations who have a history of trauma.  

She holds a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Counseling/Student Affairs and has completed post masters coursework in clinical mental health from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Katrina frequently participates in professional development opportunities to hone her skills and techniques.  Recent professional development opportunities included: opioid addiction, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed, prenatal and postpartum depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety interventions and techniques, safety and ethical issues, suicide prevention and assessment, recovery-oriented care, and diversity and cultural awareness to name a few.
