Katrina Pinkney is a PA Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holds two national counselor certifications. Katrina utilizes integrative, constructivist, and multicultural approaches. Her focus is on the here and now to help the client identify solutions and options.

She has worked in the non-profit, public health, healthcare, and higher education sectors. Within these industries, she has provided clinical services to a diverse population including college students, at-risk, geriatric, minority, underserved, low-income, and the disabled. Her specialties are at-risk, marginalized populations who have a history of trauma.  

She holds a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Counseling/Student Affairs and has completed post-masters coursework in clinical mental health from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Currently, she is a doctoral student in the counselor education and supervision (CES) program at the University of the Cumberlands. Her research interests are multiculturalism, health disparities, marginalized populations (specifically Black Americans), mental health provider implicit bias and gendered racism.
